ABOUT DAVE AUPPERLE

Dave Aupperle is a founding member of the Pastoral Training Institute for Africa and currently serving on the Board as President. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and now a retired DuPont business executive with over 42 years experience in the field of global agriculture.

Dave is an active member of White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church in Newark, Delaware where he serves as Elder and Mission Team Leader. He has led many mission trips to Africa over the last ten years. As a church, they have known and supported the ministry of Pastor Robert Manda in Malawi since 2008. In other roles Dave has been a long term board member of UrbanPromise Wilmington and currency serves on their finance committee.

Dave is married with four children and seven grandchildren. He is also known as “Papa” the author of several children’s books.
